Overview
Alberta Government introducing a new one-time Alberta Energy Rebate to help with the cost of groceries, fuel and other everyday essentials. Starting July 1, eligible Albertans can apply to get $100 through our secure online portal.
The rebate will replace the Fuel Tax Relief Program that would have taken effect on July 1. The rebate provides 50% more in savings per person than the average Albertan would have saved on fuel taxes over 3 months, while offering more choice and flexibility on how to spend it.
Applications will be accepted from July 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026.
